Asking and Expressing Opinion

Berikut sedikit bantuan tentang bagaimana menanyakan mengeluarkan pendapat dalam Bahasa Inggris.
Tetapi sebelum itu perhatikan empat hal dibawah ini saat bertanya pada orang lain:

1. Perhatikan kesopanan.
2. Pertanyaan dibuat sejelas mungkin.
3. Menitikberatkan pada satu permasalahan.
4. Memancing orang lain untuk berpikir dan memberikan respon yang memadai.

A.  Asking Opinion
Untuk menanyakan pendapat orang lain, kita bisa gunakan:
       - What do you think?
       - What’s your opinion?
       - What are your ideas?
       - Do you have any thoughts on that?
       - How do you feel about that?

B.  Giving Opinions
Kalimat yang digaris bawah berikut ini adalah sebagian contoh bagaimana kita mengemukakan pendapat:
     - I think we should get a new car.
     - I don’t think we need one.
     - I believe that smoking should be outlawed.
     - I don’t believe that it should be illegal.
     - In my opinion, Gone with the Breeze is the best movie ever made.
     - I feel that it’s the right thing to do.
     - I don’t feel that it’s such a good idea.

Perhatikan dialog dibawah ini untuk penerapan kalimat-kalimat diatas!
Andrea      : Have you ever gone to Pangandaran?
Hirata        : Yes, of course.
Andrea      : How do you feel about Pangandaran?
Hirata        : I think it is beautiful beach. We can find white sand there. The restaurant of sea food is great.
Andrea      : What about the safety when we want to swim?
Hirata        : As far as I am concerned, there are  a lot of signs around the beach. Besides, The Guards are
                   always ready to help when you have trouble at the beach.
Andrea      : Oh, I see. I'll go there next week.
